This lot consists of ten multiple blocks of French revenue stamps, all visible on the front face. Each block includes four identical stamps, for a total of forty stamps, presented on an album page. These stamps are of the "chiffre-taxe" (tax due) or "taxe à percevoir" (tax to be collected) type, characteristic of French fiscal issues from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They feature various face values, ranging from 1 centime to 1 franc, in a palette of typical colours (green, red, violet, brown, black, orange, lilac).

The visible blocks include values of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 centimes and 1 franc. Some bear the inscription "TAXE À PERCEVOIR" or "CHIFFRE-TAXE", others "GOUVERNEMENT". Several blocks show sheet margins, one with a numerical inscription "R 1609 11" and another dated "22.1.39", indicating cuts of postal or administrative origin. The typographic printing, frames, and fonts are consistent with French fiscal issues of the period. Several shades are well preserved, from olive green to dark violet, including more vibrant orange and red tones.

Some blocks show additional margins or sheet corners, which may be of interest for the study of cuts or print runs. The stamps appear unused, with no cancellation visible on the presented face. The paper appears clean, with no major stains or traces of moisture on the visible area. The alignment of the perforations and the sharpness of the printing are generally consistent.

The main inscriptions are perfectly legible: "20 CENTIMES À PERCEVOIR", "40 CENTIMES À PERCEVOIR", "1 CENTIME TAXE À PERCEVOIR", "1 FRANC TAXE À PERCEVOIR", "50 CENTIMES À PERCEVOIR TAXE", "60 CENTIMES À PERCEVOIR", "30 CENTIMES TAXE À PERCEVOIR". The ornamental motifs, typical of French revenue stamps, are well preserved on the visible face, with frames featuring geometric or stylized floral patterns.

The presentation on the sheet allows for appreciation of the uniformity of the blocks and the diversity of values. No major defects are visible on the front face, apart from a slight corner crease on a green 1-centime block and an irregular cut on a brown 30-centime block. The surface of the stamps shows good overall freshness.
