This fragment of antique fabric, intended for liturgical use, features brocaded velvet and jacquard work typical of religious textiles. The visible side reveals a rich, stylized floral decoration, consisting of large black flowers and foliage on a light background, enhanced by discreet gold touches and a textured geometric-patterned weave. The contrast between the dark design and the bright background highlights the fineness of the pattern and suggests a late 19th or early 20th-century inspiration, common in church ornaments.
