Description

This round trivet features a typical vintage design, combining a black Lucite base with abalone shell fragment inlays visible on the upper surface. The shell pieces are arranged irregularly but harmoniously, offering an iridescent and natural mosaic effect, with each fragment revealing green, pink, gold, and bluish reflections depending on the angle of the light.

The Lucite base, clearly visible on the edge and throughout the support, gives the object a solidity and brilliance that highlights the contrast with the pearlescent abalone fragments.
