Description
45 RPM vinyl record presented in its original illustrated sleeve. The visible side shows a predominantly red sleeve, adorned in the center with an illustration of a man holding a revolver, in a graphic style typical of the early 1980s. At the top of the sleeve, the inscription "Musique de ENNIO MORRICONE" accompanies the name "JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO" in capital letters. The titles "CHI MAI" and "LE VENT, LE CRI" are legible on either side of the central visual.
The mention "BANDE ORIGINALE DU FILM LE PROFESSIONNEL" appears in yellow on a black background, highlighting the disc's cinematic origin. The WEA, EMI, and General Music France logos are visible at the bottom right and left, confirming the legitimacy of the edition. The entire sleeve has a vintage appearance, with a font and layout characteristic of the film's release period.
The record is clearly identified as a 45 RPM, a standard format for singles from the 70s-80s. The dominant color of the visual is red, enhanced by yellow and black contrasts for the titles. The sleeve shows slight signs of wear visible on the edges, indicating prior use, but maintains a good overall presentation on the front side.
The visual highlights the iconic figure of Jean-Paul Belmondo, the lead actor in the film "Le Professionnel," whose soundtrack was composed by Ennio Morricone, famous for his film scores. The graphic aspect and printing style clearly place the object within a vintage aesthetic faithful to the era of the film's release, the early 1980s.
Secondary inscriptions include the edition reference "801 026" at the top right, and legal and logistical mentions at the bottom of the sleeve, attesting to production in France by General Music France. No major defects are observable on the visible side, apart from very slight warping of the cardboard and some traces of wear at the corners.
Condition
Used item, sold as is. Slight signs of wear on the edges of the sleeve, vintage appearance consistent with the age of the item. Visible side generally in good condition.
