Description

This record is a Gary Glitter 45 rpm single, shown here with its original sleeve. The visible side shows a black and white photograph of the artist on stage, dressed in a shiny and extravagant outfit, holding a microphone. The name "gary glitter" appears in red capital letters at the top of the sleeve, followed by the main title "I DIDN’T KNOW I LOVED YOU (till I saw you rock and roll)" in red and white letters. The mention "HARD ON ME" is at the bottom of the front, indicating the B-side title.

The "bel" label logo is visible at the bottom left, as well as the "SPECIAL CLUB" logo at the bottom right, two distinctive elements for vintage record enthusiasts. The overall presentation features an aesthetic typical of the early 1970s, both in photography and typography and layout. The dominant colors are black, white, and red, with a slightly faded print that attests to the object's age.

The sleeve shows visible signs of wear: blunted corners, marked creases, and slight undulations on the surface. No major tears are visible on the front, but the cardboard appears to have suffered the effects of time, which is common for this type of old object.

The photograph of the sleeve provides an accurate overview of the original jacket, with bright staging that brings out the texture of the cardboard and the light effects on the print. No details of the vinyl itself are visible in this image; only the front sleeve is shown.

Additional inscription: the mention "SPECIAL CLUB" could indicate an edition intended for a particular distribution circuit, often reserved for discotheques or clubs.
