Description

45 rpm vinyl record presented here with its original sleeve, illustrated in black and white with a close-up photographic portrait of a smiling Gérard Palaprat against a neutral background. The artist's name "GERARD PALAPRAT" appears at the top of the sleeve in orange capital letters, followed by the main title "EVE JE T'AIME" and the second title "LE GRAND BATEAU" printed in black, with a red underline beneath the first. The "Az" label logo is located at the bottom right.

The sleeve adopts a style typical of the 1970s, with a sober graphic layout and a characteristic photograph of that period. The vinyl, not visible but contained within the sleeve, is referred to as a 45 rpm record in the keywords, a standard format for singles of that era.

On the right side edge, a white tab bears a vertical inscription repeating the artist's name and title, a useful detail for storage in a box or on a shelf. The dominant colors are black, white, and bright orange for the main text, giving the whole a distinct and easily identifiable visual appearance.

The sleeve appears matte with slight handling marks visible in the image, notably some creases or reflections on the surface, typical for a used vinyl record stored for a long period. No major chipping or tearing is visible on the front face shown.

The graphic design, typography, and photography are consistent with the French variety style of the early 70s, when "Ève je t'aime" was released.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The vinyl is indicated as "untested" in the keywords. The sleeve shows some signs of wear visible on the front face (creases, light marks), with no major apparent defects on this face. The condition of the record itself is not verifiable here.

Did you know? Gérard Palaprat had great success in 1971 with the song "Pour la fin du monde". The AZ label, founded in 1967 by Lucien Morisse, produced many iconic French artists throughout the 1970s.
