Kessler Sisters vintage 60s Polydor 45 rpm vinyl picture sleeve
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
This 45 rpm vinyl record, presented here in its original sleeve, features the famous Kessler Sisters, also known as "Les Jumelles du Lido". The visible side of the sleeve features a color photograph showing the two artists in full choreography, dressed in white swimsuits, against a bright, wooded landscape background, typical of 1960s aesthetics. The iconic visual, very representative of the era, is printed on glossy cardboard, with visible wear on the corners and edges, especially on the bottom right and left.
The top part of the sleeve displays the Polydor logo, an emblematic record label, as well as the mention "Haute Fidélité" (High Fidelity) and the reference "21707". The mention "45 Medium EP" is also visible, indicating that it is a 45 rpm Extended Play format. The track titles are clearly listed at the top: "Roulette – Un Télégramme", "Mélodie pour un amour", "Bons baisers, à bientôt".
The entire visible side features graphics typical of early 60s musical design, combining glamorous photography and handwritten typography. The inscription "Kessler Sisters – Les Jumelles du Lido" is placed at the bottom of the sleeve, with white font contrasting against the natural setting.
This record is intended for a French-speaking audience, as evidenced by the song titles and information in French. The sleeve shows a slight shine in certain areas, typical of the glossy finishes of the era, as well as traces of use and handling marks on the spine and edges.
The upper left corner features the number "3" in a black circle, a graphic detail used by Polydor for classifying its record series during that period. No other technical details are visible on this side.
Condition
Used vinyl record, sold as is, untested. The sleeve shows signs of wear, blunted corners, scratches, and small visible tears on the edges. Please refer to the photo for the exact condition of the front side. The back and the record are not visible in the image.
