Description

This 45 rpm vinyl record features singer Petula Clark on the cover, with a color portrait photograph against a blue background. The cover displays a typical early 60s design, with blue and pink lettering on the upper part. The main title "ROMEO" is clearly visible in pink letters, accompanied by the mention "Petula Clark chante en français" (Petula Clark sings in French), as well as the "disques Vogue" logo and the reference "PNV. 24.086" on the right. The cover also mentions accompaniment by Peter Knight and his orchestra.

The front of the cover shows several secondary titles, including "Les Bougainvillées", "Calendar Girl (Tout au long du calendrier)", "Pardon pour notre amour", which confirms that it is a 45 rpm EP (extended play). The photograph highlights the smiling singer, with a short blonde hairstyle characteristic of the era. The graphics, typography, and overall aesthetic are typical of French productions from the first half of the 60s.

The visible surface of the cover shows signs of wear, creases and marks, particularly on the lower part and along the edges, indicating old storage or handling. No vinyl record is visible in this image, but it is indeed a 45 rpm EP record cover, identifiable by its square shape and the arrangement of information.

The visual highlights a predominance of pastel blue and pink, emphasizing the pop graphic style of that era. The layout, with the "Disques Vogue" label logo clearly visible, is consistent with the standards of French vinyl record editions from the 1960s.
