Description

45 rpm vinyl record presented in its original sleeve, released by Polydor. The sleeve features a photographic illustration of a Mediterranean port, directly related to the main title "Les Enfants du Pirée". The Polydor logo, recognizable by its stylized red and black record, appears in the upper left corner. The inscription "Les Enfants du Pirée and Other Great Film Melodies – Zacharias and His Magic Violins" is clearly legible on the front cover, accompanied by the reference 21542 EPH and the mention "HI-FI" on the right.

The sleeve features dominant blue-gray and brown tones, typical of photographs from the late 1950s to early 1960s. The scene depicts several people sitting and standing on a quay, surrounded by boats and port elements, enhancing the cinematic and evocative nature of the work. The overall visual presentation, typography, and graphic style correspond to the vintage aesthetic of the era.

At the bottom of the sleeve, the included tracks are listed: "Les Enfants du Pirée", "The Best of Everything", "Theme from The Apartment", "Theme from The Unforgiven". All lettering is clear and legible. The record is not visible in the photo; only the sleeve is shown, placed on an antique piece of furniture adorned with carved motifs, which highlights its retro appearance.

The sleeve appears to be in fair condition, with some visible signs of wear on the edges and corners, indicating prior handling consistent with an older edition. No major tears or visible stains are present on the front cover. The image does not allow for judging the condition of the record itself.

This Polydor 45 rpm record falls into the category of vintage vinyl records, sought after for their musical and decorative value. The artist's name, Zacharias and His Magic Violins, is prominently displayed, adding a touch of authenticity to this musical collector's item.
