Description

This 45 rpm vinyl features a vintage sleeve, typical of the 1970s disco style, highlighting the female group Silver Convention. On the visible side, the promotional visual for the single "Get Up and Boogie" is clearly distinguishable, accompanied by the title "Son of a Gun" on side B. The sleeve combines a purple background with white and silver characters, as well as a color photograph of the three group members in stage outfits, in a pose emblematic of the disco aesthetic.

The "Discothèque Spécial" logo is printed in white on the upper left part of the sleeve, indicating an edition intended for professionals or DJs. The inscription "Polydor" appears at the bottom left, confirming the original label, highly recognized in the 70s music scene. There is also a visible handwritten annotation on the purple part, adding a touch of authenticity to the copy.

The "SILVER CONVENTION" lettering at the top of the sleeve, in large silver letters, immediately catches the eye. The track titles are clearly legible, with minimalist graphics in the spirit of disco productions of the era. The visual of the artists on the sleeve, their outfits, and the staging are characteristic of the retro and vintage trend of the late 70s.

The sleeve shows visible signs of wear: slightly creased corners, handling marks, and small folds on the surface, mainly on the bottom right edge. These signs of age are consistent with an old vinyl record that has circulated in festive or professional environments.

The whole offers a sought-after vintage aesthetic, ideal for lovers of retro music, 70s-inspired decorations, or to enrich a selection of authentic disco-era vinyl records.
