Vinyl 45 rpm The Rubettes Cherie Amour Come On Over retro vintage Polydor
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
45 rpm vinyl record presented with its original illustrated sleeve, featuring the band The Rubettes. The visible side shows a color photograph of the band, composed of four members dressed in red jackets with white collars, against a beige to brown gradient background. The main inscriptions are clearly legible: "Rubettes" in large stylized white lettering at the top, "CHERIE AMOUR" in green on the right, and "COME ON OVER" at the bottom left in white. The iconic Polydor logo is located at the bottom right. At the top right, the reference "2058 949" is printed in small letters.
The sleeve displays a graphic and clothing style typical of the second half of the 1970s, identifiable by the hairstyles, the logo design, and the color palette. No major defects are visible, although there is a slight crease on the upper left corner and moderate wear on the edges, common for a used record.
The visible side does not display any other text or additional technical information. The band's photograph occupies most of the sleeve, giving the whole a retro and authentic look, faithful to the aesthetic of vinyl productions of that era. The record is not visible; only the front cover is shown.
Condition
Used item, sold as is. Sleeve with visible signs of wear: prominent crease on the upper left corner, slightly worn corners, but the whole remains solid and the colors well preserved. Vinyl not visible in the photo, record condition not verifiable here.
Did you know? The Rubettes, a British band known for their hit "Sugar Baby Love," left their mark on the 1970s glam pop scene. The Polydor label, displayed on the sleeve, produced numerous international hits in the 60s-80s and remains a major reference in the record industry.
