Description

This 45-rpm vinyl record features volume 2 of the "Chansons Bibliques" (Biblical Songs) series, released by the Lumen label under reference LD 1.117. The cover, clearly visible in the photo, displays a stylized black tree illustration on a white background, with a large red shape resembling a guitar and a silhouette of a seated figure, likely religious. The title "CHANSONS BIBLIQUES 2" is printed in large vertical black letters on the left, accompanied by the mention "LUMEN LD 1.117". The name "A.M. Cocagnac O.P." and the mention "BIBLE ET GUITARE" are also visible on the right.

The visible side of the cover shows signs of wear: scratches, creases, marks, and blunt corners, indicating prolonged use and old storage. The graphic design, combining black ink illustration with solid red color blocks, reflects an aesthetic typical of the 60s and 70s, often found in religious music publishing of that period.

Several legible titles are printed on the right side of the cover: "Zachée descends donc" (Zacchaeus come down), "Petit David prends donc" (Little David take), "Deux pays de Canaan" (Two lands of Canaan), "Les fêtes de Carême" (Lent festivities), indicating the religious and educational content of the record, intended for guitar accompaniment.

The vinyl record itself is not visible in the photo; only the front of the cover is shown. Therefore, no details about the back, the center label, or the condition of the record can be provided here. The cover remains a graphic and musical testament to 20th-century French-speaking Christian production.

The contrast between the cover colors and the light filtered through the stained-glass windows in the background highlights the spiritual nature of the product. The inscription of the Lumen label and the numbering confirm the original edition.
