Description

This 45 rpm vinyl features the album cover of the band Crazy Horse, with the main title "Et Surtout Ne M’Oublie Pas" accompanied by the tracks "Caline" and "Divine". The cover sports a visual typical of 70s French pop: four band members pose against a plain blue background, each dressed in brightly colored bell-bottoms and retro-style shirts, reflecting the fashion of that decade. The dominant colors are blue, red, and white, with striking contrasts that recall the aesthetic of album covers from that era.

The band name "Crazy Horse" appears in large yellow letters on the upper part of the cover, followed by the main title in white, clearly legible. The secondary titles "Caline, Divine" are also mentioned below the main title. The "Az" label logo is visible at the bottom right, attesting to the original French edition. The cover photograph highlights the characteristic clothing and hair styles of the early to mid-1970s, a period when the band achieved its greatest success.

The cover shows visible signs of wear: handling marks, superficial scratches, slightly creased corners, and some handwritten ink inscriptions on the upper part and around one of the band members. A heart drawn with a pen surrounds the face of the fourth member on the right, which is typical of old use and domestic storage. No other accessories or records are visible in this image; only the front cover is presented.

The layout, typography, and overall graphic design are characteristic of French pop productions from the Az label during the 70s. This type of 45 rpm vinyl was the standard format for singles at that time, intended for playback on a record player.

Did you know? The Az label, founded by Lucien Morisse, was a major player in the French pop scene in the 60s and 70s, producing many iconic artists of that period. 45 rpm vinyl records were then the main medium for distributing singles before the advent of the CD.
