45 rpm vinyl Les Jokarys Sega Réunionnais Dindar vintage 60s sleeve
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
This 45 rpm vinyl record is presented here with its original illustrated sleeve, published by the Dindar label. This record features Les Jokarys, an emblematic group of Réunion folklore, with a selection of traditional sega tracks. The full-color sleeve shows five musicians posing outdoors, some playing guitar or percussion, sitting on a donkey-drawn cart, in a typical plant landscape. The title "Les JOKARYS – FOLKLORE RÉUNIONNAIS" is displayed at the top, accompanied by the titles: "Mi Vende Gouyaviers", "Ah Nènère", "Canne Mapou", "Viens voir la Réunion".
The upper right corner of the sleeve shows significant wear, with a missing piece, while the rest of the cover shows signs of age, including visible creases and scuffs on the edges. The illustration, however, retains vibrant colors and good text legibility. The green Dindar label logo is visible at the bottom left with the reference "25 014" and the mention "MONO".
The mention "SPECIAL SEGA" appears on a pink banner at the top left, highlighting the musical orientation of the record. The sleeve also bears the indication "recorded by I. Dindar" in the lower right corner. No back or condition of the record itself is visible in this image.
This vinyl, by its visuals and indications, clearly evokes a production from the 1960s, a period marked by the promotion of Réunion's musical heritage and the spread of segas on 45 rpm records.
