Description

This 45-rpm vinyl record comes in its original illustrated sleeve, predominantly in sepia and white tones, featuring a photograph of the band Martin Circus in casual attire typical of the 1970s. The main title "Je m?éclate au Sénégal" is printed in white letters, while the second title "Moi j?aime bien prendre mon pied" appears in bright orange, offering an attractive visual contrast on the sleeve. The name "Martin Circus" is featured at the top of the sleeve in capital letters with a psychedelic orange outline bordered in black, reinforcing the pop/rock spirit of the era.

The visible side shows several handwritten signatures and marks in green felt-tip pen and black ink, particularly on the left and lower parts of the sleeve, indicating past use or personalization by a previous owner. An old price tag is also visible, affixed to the band's photo. The inscriptions "MONO/STEREO" and the "Disques Vogue" logo appear at the bottom right, with the reference V. 45. 1815 clearly legible, indicating an original pressing by this iconic label of the French music scene.

The background of the photograph shows a shelf of vinyl records or books, enhancing the overall vintage and retro atmosphere. The sleeve shows signs of wear, a slight patina, rounded corners, and some dirt, typical of an old record that has been around for several decades.

This 45-rpm single features two flagship tracks by Martin Circus, an influential French band in the pop and rock landscape of the 1970s. The layout, graphics, typography, and choice of colors are characteristic of this period, giving the object a strong period visual identity.
