Vinyl 45 RPM The Michael Zager Band Let's All Chant disco funk vintage 70s
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
45 rpm vinyl record presented in its original sleeve, illustrated with a monochrome drawing depicting a fairground-style wagon, with ornamental details and embossed motifs. On the front, the sleeve displays a yellow star in the top left with the handwritten inscription "SPECIAL Club" in pink, typical of pressings intended for nightclubs. The artist's name, THE MICHAEL ZAGER BAND, appears in black capital letters, followed by the song title "let’s all chant" in finer, spaced-out characters. In the top right, the reference "PVT 1417" is visible, associated with the Private Stock Records Ltd label, which is visible in the bottom right.
The visible side shows signs of wear: creased corners, handling marks, dirt, and discoloration, mainly along the edges. A handwritten annotation in purple ("catf..." partially legible) can also be seen above the central drawing. The overall design clearly evokes the aesthetic of the 1970s, reinforced by the graphic layout typical of that period.
The vinyl record is not visible in this image; only the front cover is shown. The general style, with its retro illustration and "club" graphic elements, clearly targets the disco/funk scene of the late 70s. The main colors are gray, white, and black, with the yellow and pink accent of the star logo.
This 45 rpm record, a standard format for singles of the era, brings together all the elements sought after by fans of vintage disco and funk music, both for its emblematic title and its design evocative of the club and disco era.
Condition
