Description

This 45 rpm vinyl record features the original cover of the single "Breakaway" performed by Tracey Ullman, a figure of the British pop scene. On the front of the cover, a color photographic portrait of the artist stands out against a pale green background, with staging typical of the 1980s style: pronounced makeup, voluminous red-toned hair, and checkered clothing. The typography of the title "BREAKAWAY" in vertical pink capital letters, as well as the name "TRACEY ULLMAN" in the upper left, are clearly visible, reinforcing the new wave pop aesthetic of the era.

In the lower left, the "STIFF RECORDS" logo is visible, an independent label known for its pop and new wave productions during the 80s. The secondary title "DANCING IN THE DARK" also appears, indicating the B-side of the record. Legal notices and distribution by "Ariola Group of Companies" are printed in white, as well as a visible reference in the upper right: "105 227 AE 140".

The cover visible in the photo is made of soft cardstock with a matte satin finish, typical of European pressings from this period. The jacket's colors are well preserved, with some traces of handling or slight storage marks, visible mainly on the corners and the upper edge. No major defects are apparent on the front.

This 45 rpm is a single format, highly sought after by vintage vinyl and English pop enthusiasts. The graphic layout and choice of colors reflect the energy and visual aesthetic of the 80s, with a resolutely retro touch, immediately identifiable for connoisseurs of music from that decade.

The visible side shows no stickers, tears, or handwritten annotations. The visual does not indicate the back or the condition of the record itself, which has not been tested. The set remains a beautiful example of 1980s pop production, both for its graphic cover and the featured artist.

Condition
