Description

Old financial document visible in the photo: it is a bearer share issued by the Compagnie des Mines de Brakmar-Tensift, a Moroccan limited company with its registered office in Casablanca. This certificate bears the mention "Action de cent francs au porteur entièrement libérée" (fully paid-up bearer share of one hundred francs), with the individual number 15.508 clearly legible. The printing uses dominant light blue and beige colors, with refined graphic details typical of 1920s shares. The ornamental frame, with stylized geometric and floral motifs, encloses a central text in capital letters.

The upper part of the document features the printed signatures of the administrators, as well as a red embossed stamp with a circular motif, typical of authentic certificates from that era. The main area also includes precise mentions of the share capital ("12,000,000 francs") and the legal form. The entire document offers an elegant and sophisticated aesthetic, with characteristic old typography and a light blue screened security background.

On the lower part, a series of detachable coupons can be distinguished, numbered and stamped with the same red stamp, each bearing the mention "Action N° 15.508". These coupons are integrated into the main sheet, arranged in a regular grid, and historically served for the payment of dividends or interest. Their presence emphasizes the period character and decorative value of the document.

The paper, with a slightly satin appearance, has a matte finish with high-quality printing. There are complex borders, security patterns, and a graphic composition typical of early 20th-century stock exchange documents. The apparent condition is good, with no visible tears or major stains on the photographed side.

Condition

This vintage document is second-hand and sold as-is. Some traces of wear and signs of handling are possible, consistent with the age and nature of the item.

Did you know? Bearer shares like this were commonly used in the early 20th century to facilitate the circulation and transfer of securities, without the owner's name being recorded. The Compagnie des Mines de Brakmar-Tensift illustrates Moroccan mining development under the French protectorate, a period during which many mining companies were created and financed by European capital.
