Old financial title visible in the photo, it is a bearer share issued by the Société Anonyme des Verreries de la Mulatière. This period document, dated October 5, 1928 in Lyon, features a monochrome print on paper, with an ornamental frame typical of financial titles from the early 20th century.

The visible side shows at the top the company name "VERRERIES DE LA MULATIÈRE" in capital letters, accompanied by precise legal mentions and the amount of the share: "Ordinary Share of ONE HUNDRED Francs to bearer". The share number "04074" is printed, with handwritten signatures from the administration. Several red "VERRERIES DE LA MULATIÈRE" stamps are superimposed, adding a visual touch and authenticating the document.

The lower part contains a series of numbered coupons, also stamped with the red seal, used at the time for dividend payments. Each coupon repeats the company name, the share number, and the sequential numbering, reinforcing the graphic and decorative aspect of the whole.

The whole features a meticulous print, with a decorative frame with floral and geometric motifs, typical of securities from the 1920s. The general condition shows good preservation: the visible edges and corners are clean, without apparent tears, and the print remains very legible. No major folds or visible stains on the exposed side.

Used item, sold as is. The document has a beautiful period patina and the inscriptions are perfectly legible on the displayed side. Some minimal handling marks may be observed at the edges, without significant alteration of the overall appearance.

Did you know? Bearer securities, like this one, were commonly used until the mid-20th century to facilitate the anonymous transfer of company shares. The Société des Verreries de la Mulatière was an important player in glass production in Lyon, founded in 1897 and active until the 1930s, notably supplying the pharmaceutical and food industries.
