The plate is titled "ACTUALITÉS" (page 33), with a large, centered black and white illustration, signed "A. Grasset" in the lower left, a recognized artist known for his graphic works from the late 19th century. The scene depicts a lively, probably satirical, procession where several male characters, some in costume, parade in a carnival atmosphere. In the background, a dense crowd holds up placards, reinforcing the cartoonish and political aspect of the drawing.
