Large antique cane handle in ivorine synthetic material, probably bakelite, with rich zoomorphic and vegetal relief decoration. Its striking presence comes from the curve of the pommel, the incised work, and the threaded brass mount.

Description

This cane handle features a sculptural composition with animal decoration, crafted in a beige material nuanced with brown, with highlights in the hollows emphasizing the incisions. The surface work alternates fine hatching, stylized feather or foliage motifs, rounded reliefs, and more deeply engraved areas.

The upper part adopts a curved shape, designed for grip, with a particularly expressive enveloping decoration. The base is equipped with a threaded brass mount, intended for assembly on a cane shaft.
