This issue of the "Lisette" newspaper, dated Sunday, May 6, 1934, is an illustrated publication intended for young female readers, as indicated by the subtitle "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper). It is issue number 18 of the fourteenth year, comprising 16 pages, as mentioned in the upper left of the cover. The original price is clearly indicated: 25 centimes.

The full-color cover features a finely illustrated domestic scene: two female characters, including a young girl in a white apron and brown dress, standing, handing a satchel to a woman seated and dressed in green. In the background, a window overlooks a pastoral landscape with houses, trees, and birds, typical of 1930s children's illustrations.
