Description
Old Tekno miniature made of die-cast metal, presented in an olive green military livery. The body retains a star decoration on a blue background, as well as partially visible painted inscriptions on the hood. The underside bears the embossed marking Tekno Denmark, characteristic of the brand's Danish production.

The piece features a construction articulated around a cast chassis, with an open cockpit, attached wheels, coupling elements, and openwork parts. The volumes, body edges, and casting details give this miniature a very graphic presence, typical of old painted zamak vehicles.

Context
Tekno is a Danish company founded in Copenhagen in 1928, known for its die-cast miniature vehicles and for a production that holds a significant place in the European history of post-war toys. Tekno's Danish production precedes the transfer of the brand to the Netherlands in 1974 under the name Tekno Toys.
