Description
Old handwritten administrative document, presented on a cream-toned sheet of paper, with the cursive writing characteristic of acts and correspondence from the early 19th century. The whole retains a beautiful documentary presence, with brown ink, tight lines, large calligraphic loops, and period flourishes.
The lower part reveals a handwritten mention dated "July 29, 1829". Several printed stamps are visible, including a 25-centimes fiscal stamp with an allegorical figure, as well as a circular administrative stamp, adding further interest to the piece.

Dated 1829, this letter falls within the period of the French Restoration, under the reign of Charles X. Administrative documents from this era are distinguished by their very cursive writing, their legal or institutional formulas, as well as the use of stamped papers and fiscal marks intended to officialize acts.
