Description

This listing is for a hardcover comic book, as shown in the photo, titled Lucky Luke versus Joss Jamon. This is volume 11 of the Lucky Luke series, published by Dupuis, with an illustrated cover where Lucky Luke, dressed in his famous yellow and blue costume, writes words on a poster "Joss Jamon dead or alive" while his horse, Jolly Jumper, holds a paint pot. In the background, a group of characters can be seen looking over a fence, displaying the mischievous expressions typical of Morris's graphic style.

The title "Lucky Luke versus Joss Jamon" appears in red letters on a wide yellow band at the top of the cover, surmounted by the distinctive blue banner of Dupuis editions. The number "11" is clearly visible in a black and white circle next to the series name. At the bottom of the cover, the "DUPUIS" logo is clearly printed on a white background, confirming the publisher. The graphic style, with its bright colors, lively and expressive lines, is characteristic of Franco-Belgian comic books from the 1980s.

The cover has a glossy finish, typical of hardcover albums. The main colors visible are sky blue, bright yellow, red, and various shades of green and brown for the Wild West setting. The drawing details, such as Lucky Luke's dynamic posture and the visual humor of the scene, are faithful to the universe of Morris and Goscinny. No major defects are observable on the visible front, apart from slight, discreet wear on the upper right edge of the cover.

The album appears complete on the visible front, with a white spine and square corners, without deformation or apparent marks on the cover. The inscriptions are perfectly legible: "Wanted", "Vote for Joss Jamon", "dead or alive". The DUPUIS logo print confirms the original edition of the work.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Slight wear visible on the upper right edge of the cover, with no other apparent defects on the front. The colors remain vibrant and the illustration is well preserved.

Originally published in 1958, it has been reissued several times by Dupuis, including this edition recognizable by its typical 1980s design. Lucky Luke is one of the most famous Franco-Belgian comic books, translated into many languages and adapted into animated series and films.
