Description

Antique Art Deco style brooch, likely dating from the 1930s, displayed on a blue floral background. This piece features an original shape evoking a large stylized knotted ribbon, ending in two triangular sections adorned with enameled geometric patterns and punctuated by small stems terminating in spheres. The overall appearance is golden, with dark enameled areas and light patterns, creating an elegant contrast typical of the period.

The finely crafted central ribbon motif is highlighted by an openwork decoration and chiseled details visible on the front. The lower ends are embellished with seven small golden spheres, suspended from stems, reinforcing the decorative and refined character of the brooch. The enameled decoration, composed of geometric patterns and lines, shows a beautiful mastery of antique enamel, although traces of wear are visible on some reliefs, testifying to the age of the piece.

The brooch is mounted on a golden metallic-looking base, with no precise material indication (no visible hallmark or inscription on the front). The surface presents a homogeneous patina, with some slight alterations to the gilding and enamel, which gives the whole an authentic vintage charm. No major chips or deformations are visible on the exposed front.

The object is carefully presented in a case with a golden rim and navy blue velvet, which highlights the warm tone of the brooch and its retro style. This type of jewelry was popular in the 1930s for its graphic sophistication and structured elegance, characteristic of the Art Deco movement.
