First-day illustrated envelope, issued on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Ordre de la Libération in 1971. The visible side features a commemorative French stamp, rectangular in shape, in blue-green, black, and white tones, with the inscription "XXV" and the symbol of the Ordre de la Libération. The mention "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" is clearly visible, as are the cities "NANTES, VASSIEUX-EN-VERCORS, PARIS, GRENOBLE". The round postmark is dated June 18, 1971, 12 PM, in Paris 07. The upper left of the envelope bears the printed inscription "Premier Jour d’émission" (First Day of Issue) in red.

The envelope is inserted in a protective plastic sleeve, which highlights its preservation. The bottom right bears the mention "SCOTEM" (a specialized philatelic publisher), accompanied by an address in Paris and a handwritten label "10F".
