Description

This First Day Cover, shown in the photo, is dedicated to the "Anthurium" philatelic issue dated January 20, 1973. The envelope features a stamp illustrated with a red and green anthurium flower, accompanied by a matching large floral illustration on the left side. The whole is enhanced by a golden frame around the main illustration, typical of commemorative issues of the period.

Two round "PREMIER JOUR" (FIRST DAY) postmarks are clearly visible, bearing the inscription "ANTHURIUM MARTINIQUE 972 FORT-DE-FRANCE" and the date "20 JANV 1973". The inscription "PREMIER JOUR D'ÉMISSION" (FIRST DAY OF ISSUE) and "FIRST DAY COVER" is printed at the bottom left of the envelope. The right side of the envelope also has a small handwritten number "105", probably related to a classification or lot reference.

The main visual highlights a stylized floral composition on a dark background, with meticulous botanical details that attest to the print quality typical of French Post issues from the 1970s. The whole is protected by a transparent plastic sleeve, which suggests some reflections and superficial creases due to the packaging.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The envelope shows reflections and creases visible on the protective plastic surface, without being able to specify the exact condition of the paper support not visible under the packaging. The postmarks are clear and the inscriptions are perfectly legible on the front.
