This philatelic envelope is a "First Day Cover," illustrated with a black drawing depicting Professor Ramon in the midst of a scientific experiment, visible on the left side. To the right of the illustration are several elements typical of this type of item: a round red "École Vétérinaire Alfort" stamp with its distinctive emblem, as well as a black postmark dated 21-5-67 from Maisons-Alfort, clearly legible on the stamp and the central area of the envelope.

The envelope also bears the inscriptions "Arginine Veyron" and "Professeur Ramon," as well as the bilingual mention "First Day Cover – Premier Jour d’Émission" in the upper left. The visible stamp shows monumental architecture, likely related to the École Vétérinaire d’Alfort, with well-defined architectural details. The whole is presented under transparent plastic protection, ensuring the preservation of the item and limiting direct handling.

The graphics are typical of commemorative envelopes from the 1960s, with careful layout, crisp printed inscriptions, and a sober line illustration. The dominant colors are black (printing and illustration), red (commemorative stamp), and blue/green (postage stamp).

On the front, no major defects are observable through the protection: the envelope appears clean, with no visible tears or obvious stains. A small piece of paper bearing the inscription "10f" is affixed to the plastic protection, probably a vintage price tag.
