This illustrated envelope is a "First Day Cover" (FDC), dedicated to the famous Marianne effigy designed by Muller. The envelope is presented in a transparent sleeve, placed on a light wooden surface. On the visible side, there is a stylized illustration of Marianne, printed in red, accompanied by the mention "MARIANNE de Muller" at the bottom left.

The envelope's header clearly states "PREMIER JOUR D’ÉMISSION - FIRST DAY COVER". Two round postmarks are clearly visible, both bearing the mention "PARIS R.P.", the date "22-6 1957" and the mention "PHILATELIE". These elements authenticate the exact date of issue and its connection to Parisian philately.

At the bottom right, the commercial stamp "EMPIRE PHILATELIQUE" is printed, with the address "48, Galerie Montpensier, 50 PARIS-1er (Palais-Royal)". A small handwritten paper glued on indicates "10P". The surface of the envelope shows a slightly creased or wrinkled appearance, typical of an envelope kept in a plastic sleeve, which protects the document but reveals some signs of handling or storage.

The clean design of the Marianne, the typography, and the layout are characteristic of French First Day Covers from the 1950s. All texts and decorative elements on the visible side are clear and legible.
