This illustrated envelope is a "first day of issue" philatelic document (FDC, First Day Cover), issued in Morlaix and dated June 10, 1967, as clearly indicated by the visible postmarks. On the left, a monochrome illustration depicts a characteristic architectural view of Morlaix, with a viaduct in the background and traditional houses, drawn in an engraving style.

The stamp affixed to the envelope, top right, bears the mention "République Française" and features a blue-green motif.
