This illustrated First Day Cover features a superb design inspired by the stained-glass windows of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. The visible side shows a detailed architectural drawing of the Sainte-Chapelle, rendered in reddish-brown tones, accompanied by a vibrant color reproduction of a stained-glass window depicting a baptism scene. The composition is enhanced by a perfectly legible First Day cancellation, dated October 22, 1966, with the inscription "Vitrail de la Sainte-Chapelle – Premier Jour – Paris."
