Illustrated philatelic sheet, issued by the CEF (Cercle des Émissoins de France), dedicated to Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980). This commemorative sheet features an artistic portrait of Sartre in vibrant colours, created by artist Jacques Jubert, predominantly yellow, red, and green. The portrait is accompanied by the phrase "Je pense, j’écris, j’existe" (I think, I write, I exist) in artistic lettering integrated into the background.
