Description

Figurine representing a two-headed kaiju, from the Ultraman universe and produced by Bandai in 2012. The creature, inspired by the iconic monsters of Japanese tokusatsu, presents a massive and imposing silhouette, standing on two robust legs. Its body is covered with a scaly and bumpy texture, mainly in red tones with lighter shades on the belly and torso, evoking a reptilian carapace typical of the series' monsters.

The two elongated heads, facing forward, feature a pale yellow beak, reinforcing the hybrid nature of the animal, halfway between a bird and a giant reptile. The powerful arms are slightly bent, ending in visible ivory claws, accentuating the creature's menacing appearance. The thick legs also end in large light-colored claws, clearly visible on the photographed front face.

The surface finish reveals numerous sculpted details, including scales, accentuated reliefs on the chest and shoulders, as well as bumps on the head and back. The applied coloring highlights the volumes, with subtle transitions between the dominant red and the lighter areas. No base or accessories are visible in the photo, the figurine being placed directly on a wooden surface.

The figurine presents a dynamic pose, typical of Bandai toys from the Ultraman series, and immediately evokes the universe of giant Japanese monsters. No logo or inscription is legible on the visible side, but the morphology, style, and color palette correspond to the official Bandai range for Ultraman, 2012 period.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The figurine has a generally clean surface, with no visible chips or cracks on the front. Some slight signs of wear may be observed on the tips of the claws, without major impact on the overall appearance.

Did you know? The character depicted here is inspired by the kaiju "Birdon", which first appeared in the "Ultraman Taro" series in 1973. Birdon is known for its two heads and distinctive appearance, and has been reintroduced in several subsequent Ultraman series, becoming one of the franchise's recurring monsters.
