Handwritten letter from the World War II era, dated Thursday, April 2, 1942, written in ink on a letterhead sheet from "LA PROTECTRICE – Fixed Premium Insurance Company" in Paris. The medium used is a "memorandum" type form, featuring the agency's printed details in the upper left and a layout typical of the 1940s. The handwritten script, in a brown hue, occupies the central and lower part of the document, with an address to "Madame La Guiffron" visible in the upper right corner. The letter is placed on an old wooden table, in front of a bookcase of bound books, enhancing the authentic and historical atmosphere of the whole.

The paper shows a slight patina, indicating its age, with some folds and tiny traces of wear visible on the exposed side.
