This vintage booklet, visible in the photo, is a school document titled "L'Économie et les Classes Sociales en France" (The Economy and Social Classes in France), lesson n°1 of the first series of the French Communist Party's Elementary School. Its cover features a blue typographical border on light beige matte paper, typical of 1940s publications. The title, printed in bold characters, covers most of the front page.

At the top, one can distinguish the mention "L'ÉCOLE ÉLÉMENTAIRE DU PARTI COMMUNISTE FRANÇAIS - PREMIÈRE SÉRIE" (THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF THE FRENCH COMMUNIST PARTY - FIRST SERIES) as well as the reference to lesson n°1. The original price (5 francs) is indicated at the bottom right.
