This lot includes 29 old French postage stamps, visible on a philatelic album page. The stamps feature several iconic series of French philately, notably including examples of the "Marianne" series (profile of a republican woman), "Semeuse" (allegory of the Republic sowing by hand), as well as portraits of Pasteur. These stamps are all postmarked, with visible ink cancellations on most of them.

The color palette is varied: stamps are observed in red, purple, blue, green, brown, and orange tones, each shade corresponding to a different face value and issue. Legible face values range from 1 franc to 1.50 francs, including intermediate values such as 10c, 15c, 20c, 30c, 40c, 50c, 75c, and 1.20 francs. Several stamps display the inscription "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" or "POSTES FRANCE", typical of 20th-century issues.

The lot also contains a single dark-colored stamp at the bottom of the page, bearing the inscription "POSTES" and "10 MILS", adorned with a central coat of arms. This stamp is distinguished by its different graphic design and could originate from a specific issue, but only the front face is visible.

Each stamp displays a precise design: profiles of Marianne or Pasteur, Semeuse motifs, and various decorative frames. Some show signs of wear, small creases, or more pronounced cancellations, attesting to their actual postal use. The perforations (denticulations) are generally regular, although some examples show slight irregularities due to use or original cutting.

The set is presented on a transparent plastic sheet, allowing a good view of the front of each stamp. The inscriptions, values, and mentions are generally legible, but some cancellations partially obscure details on a few examples.

These stamps are used and sold as is. Presence of cancellations, traces of use and visible wear on most examples. Some stamps show minor marks or defects related to their postal handling.
