This antique religious medal is a round pendant, made of metal, as indicated by its greyish, patinated surface. On the visible side, there is a Christ in relief, with outstretched arms, in a classic representation of the crucifix. The inscription in capital letters follows the perimeter of the medallion and remains partially legible: "TANTAR… MONT… C’AREST DE…". The raised lettering is crisp and well-formed, highlighting the traditional craftsmanship of this type of Catholic medal.

The medallion is fitted with a thick suspension ring, also made of metal, allowing it to be easily worn as a pendant or attached to a rosary. The finish of the medal presents a matte surface, with discreet reflections typical of an old alloy or unpolished metal. No gilding or visible enamel is apparent on this side.

The central relief sculpture of Christ occupies a dominant position on the disc, with open arms, the details of the head and body being stylized but clear.
