Description

This round religious pendant features an integrated bail, allowing it to be worn as a pendant or medal. On the visible side, there is a finely molded scene: a central haloed figure, likely the Christ child or a saint, surrounded by several children in prayer or adoration. To the left, a stylized palm tree, and to the right, architecture evoking a bell tower or pagoda, add an exotic touch to the scene. The relief shows crisp details and iconography typical of missionary Christian medals.

The border of the medal bears the embossed inscription: "SANCTA INFANTA" at the top, followed at the bottom by a Latin motto: "SINITE PARVULOS VENIRE AD ME" ("Let the little children come to me"), a biblical quote frequently associated with child protection in Christian tradition. The entire scene, as well as the lettering style, indicate careful craftsmanship and classic iconography.
