Description

This document is a bearer profit share issued by Établissements Dickson Walrave, a public limited company specializing in spinning and weaving, particularly sailcloth and tarpaulins. The share is dated October 1, 1927, as indicated by the inscription printed on the document. The item features a typical 1920s layout, with a blue border with a stylized plant motif and neat Art Deco-style typography.

The upper part of the document bears the full company name "Établissements Dickson Walrave" in ornate letters, accompanied by several administrative details, including the head office in Paris and the factories in Coudekerque-Branche and St-Clair-de-la-Tour. A red embossed stamp bearing the inscription "Dickson Walrave – Paris" is also visible, as well as handwritten signatures printed at the bottom left and right.

The central part displays in large characters the wording "PART BÉNÉFICIAIRE AU PORTEUR" (BEARER PROFIT SHARE) followed by the individual number "N° 162028". Several paragraphs detail the issuance conditions and the rights conferred by this security. The printed text is in blue, contrasting with the cream color of the paper.

At the bottom of the document, twelve detachable coupons are visible, numbered 1 to 12, each bearing the same number as the main security. Each coupon has an embossed red stamp, reinforcing the authenticity of the piece. The entire document shows a meticulous presentation, typical of old financial securities from the first half of the 20th century.

The document shows a slight curve on the upper edge, with no apparent tearing on the visible side. The print remains clear, with some minor signs of wear compatible with its age, mainly on the edges. The colors and inscriptions are well preserved, offering a beautiful visual aspect for a document of this era.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Slight traces of wear visible on the upper edges, paper color slightly patinated by time. Print and stamps clearly legible.
