Description

This Japanese toy represents a blue spaceship presented in its original box. It is the CPA-32 model from the Capsule Chogokin series, produced by the Popy brand, a subsidiary of Bandai, well-known for its toys inspired by Japanese animated series. On the visible side of the box, the spaceship bears the white inscription "3" on the nose and wings, as well as the inscription "TESTER 3" on the side, typical of 70s-80s Japanese science fiction toys.

The blue spaceship has an aerodynamic silhouette, with a central cockpit, red and yellow details on the top (probably representing portholes or technical elements), and short wings adorned with white markings. Its lower part is white, contrasting with the dominant blue of the hull. The whole is depicted on the box, with Japanese inscriptions and the Popy logo in the upper right corner, as well as the CPA-32 reference clearly visible.

The box itself appears to be in good condition on the visible side, with no major tears or crushing marks. The colors of the print remain vibrant, with a yellow border that highlights the toy's visual. No details of the back or sides of the box are visible in the provided photo.

This type of object, also called "diecast" or "pressure-cast toy," is sought after for its manufacturing quality and design faithful to the aesthetic of Japanese series of that era. The box also bears inscriptions in Japanese characters, confirming its Japanese origin and visual authenticity.

The model presented is typical of retro Japanese toys, with a glossy finish and colorful details. The presence of the original box adds to the appeal of this item, especially for fans of science fiction toys and objects from Bandai and Popy licenses.

Condition

Used item sold as is. The front of the box is clean and well-preserved; no major defects are visible in the photo. The other sides and the interior condition are not visible.

Did you know? Popy, a subsidiary of Bandai created in 1971, revolutionized the toy market in Japan by launching the first "Chogokin," die-cast robots and vehicles inspired by anime like Mazinger Z. The term "Chogokin" refers to an emblematic range associated with quality and innovation in Japanese toys.
