This art porcelain trinket dish features a square shape with wavy edges, typical of decorative objects manufactured in France in past decades. The visible side boasts a colorful illustration of the Factor Cheval's Palais Idéal, an emblematic monument located in Hauterives. The central decoration highlights a detailed view of the palace, accompanied by a stylized blue sky and a border of greenery on the right.

The upper left part of the trinket dish displays a coat of arms bearing the inscription "Hauterives" surrounded by a laurel wreath, while the bottom of the piece is adorned with the inscription "Le Palais Idéal Hauterives" in cursive letters. The main colors are the white of the porcelain, the blue of the sky, touches of green and brown for the monument and vegetation, as well as black highlights for the architectural details.

The porcelain presents a smooth and shiny finish, accentuating the quality of the printed decoration.
