Description

This 33 RPM vinyl record features the album "Corsica Sempre Corsa" by Antoine Ciosi, an emblematic figure of Corsican song. The sleeve has a matte black background, with the album title in red and white lettering at the top, and the artist's name, "Antoine Ciosi," in white capital letters in the center. In the bottom right of the sleeve, a photograph of the artist on stage, wearing a red jacket and holding a microphone, adds a lively and authentic touch to the whole. The "festival STEREO" imprint in red in the bottom left corner indicates the record label.

In the upper left corner is the reference "FLD 659," typical of Festival pressings from that period. The overall appearance of the sleeve reflects a sober aesthetic, characteristic of music productions from the second half of the 20th century, enhancing the retro atmosphere of this record.

The texture of the sleeve visible in the photo shows a slightly shiny effect, typical of vinyl jackets from that era. No other graphic or decorative elements appear on the front cover, thus highlighting the simplicity and authenticity of the production.

The photograph of the artist, though discreet, evokes the atmosphere of Corsican shows and underlines the scenic dimension of the record. The visual ensemble fits perfectly into the tradition of regional albums and pays homage to Corsican musical culture.

The record is presented here standing upright, in front of a wooden bookshelf filled with old books, which highlights its vintage and heritage character. No major defects are visible on the front, apart from a few micro-scratches from use that can be observed under certain lighting angles.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The sleeve has an overall clean visual appearance, with some signs of handling and slight superficial marks, common for a vintage vinyl record.

Did you know? Antoine Ciosi is one of the great voices of Corsican song, recognized for having popularized the island's musical heritage since the 1970s. The Festival label, mentioned on the sleeve, was one of the main record publishers in France, active from 1958 to the late 1980s, and contributed to the dissemination of many regional and national artists.
