Description This 45 rpm vinyl record features the famous cover of the "Y.M.C.A" by Village People. The visible side shows the original sleeve, illustrated with an iconic photograph: the band members posing in a desert setting, around a yellow bulldozer, a motorcycle, and an all-terrain vehicle. The six members are dressed in their iconic costumes (biker, policeman, construction worker, cowboy, Indian, military), characteristic of the late 1970s disco aesthetic. The background highlights rock formations under a blue sky, reinforcing the retro visual aspect of this edition.

The title "VILLAGE PEOPLE" appears in large white letters in the upper left, followed by the title "Y.M.C.A" on the right, also in white. In the lower left, the Barclay label logo is clearly visible, guaranteeing an original French edition. On the upper right edge is the reference "12 083", typical of Barclay pressings from that period. The sleeve is made of flexible cardboard, with visible signs of wear, including pronounced creases and a damaged lower right corner.

The record is not visible in the photo; only the cardboard sleeve is. Therefore, no information about the condition of the vinyl itself can be provided here. The visible side of the sleeve does not show any major tears, but there are signs of use, reflections, and handling marks, typical of a used record over forty years old. The printing colors remain well contrasted, with a predominance of blue, yellow, and brown.

This "Y.M.C.A" 45 rpm record is typical of the disco wave and pop imagery of the late 70s. The ensemble, with its band photo and staging, perfectly illustrates the festive and theatrical spirit of the Village People, who became an international icon of dance music.

Condition Used item, sold as is. Sleeve with signs of wear: pronounced creases, blunt corners, handling marks, and some reflections. Record not visible in the photo, vinyl condition not guaranteed here. See photo for more details on the appearance of the sleeve.
