Description

45 rpm vinyl record presented in its original sleeve, illustrated on the front with sober and elegant lettering. The cover features the words "VERSION ORIGINALE" at the top, followed by the composer's name "VIVALDI" in clear green letters. Just below, the full title of the work "concerto pour deux mandolines" is written in brown letters, in a classic typeface. The performing ensemble "I SOLISTI VENETI" and the conductor "Dir. : Claudio SCIMONE" are also mentioned at the bottom of the sleeve, printed in pale green. The clearly visible ERATO label logo is placed at the bottom of the sleeve, confirming the edition and the record company.

The sleeve is square, typical of 45 rpm records, and has a uniform white or ivory tint, slightly yellowed with age. No graphic patterns other than the text are visible on this side. The corners of the sleeve show some signs of moderate wear, indicating previous use, with no apparent tears or major stains on the visible area. The vinyl itself is not visible in the photo, only the front sleeve is shown.

The minimalist design highlights the classic aspect of this edition, with a centered, uncluttered layout, suitable for baroque music. The whole is placed on a varnished wooden support, in a bright environment, which enhances the clarity of the sleeve and the legibility of the inscriptions.

This 45 rpm record, published by Erato, features Antonio Vivaldi's famous Concerto for Two Mandolins, an emblematic work of the baroque repertoire, performed by the ensemble I Solisti Veneti under the direction of Claudio Scimone, both renowned for their faithful interpretation of early music.

The Erato logo, stylized in purple, occupies a central position at the bottom of the sleeve; no other illustration or photo is present on this side. The dominant colors are white, green and brown, with a clear and well-preserved print on the visible area.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The sleeve shows some superficial marks and traces due to age, but remains in overall good visual condition on the front. The record is not visible in the photo.

Did you know? The Erato label, founded in France in 1953, specialized in classical and baroque music publishing, playing a key role in the rediscovery of many composers and rare works, notably under the direction of conductors such as Claudio Scimone.
