Description

Classical music 45 rpm vinyl record, released by Philips, presented in its original sleeve. The visible side shows a predominantly pink jacket with a bright yellow border, typical of 1970s-1980s graphic design. The large red and pink inscriptions indicate the title "Nouvel adagio d’albinoni en ré mineur" (New Albinoni Adagio in D minor), conducted by Johann Albert. We also note the mention "Kinder Garten (Jardin d’enfants)" by Frantz Gibbel, performed by Karl Muller, printed in purple at the bottom of the sleeve.

The Philips logo is clearly visible at the top left, accompanied by the reference B 370.812 F, confirming the original edition. The mention "serie PARADE" in a pink and white insert appears at the bottom left. The conductor's name, Johann Albert, is clearly legible, as are the other contributors. The overall presentation is understated, with modern typography and a hierarchical organization of information, suitable for popular classical music.

The sleeve shows some visible signs of wear, including creasing and slight discoloration around the edges, indicating a used item. The cardboard texture appears standard for this type of edition, with no particular decorative elements beyond the printed graphics. No artist or instrument visuals are apparent on the visible side.

This 45 rpm record brings together classical works, with Albinoni's adagio as the main piece, an emblematic work of the baroque repertoire, revisited here under the direction of Johann Albert. All the visible information makes it possible to precisely identify this Philips edition, sought after for its quality recordings and distinctive presentation.

The back, the vinyl itself, and the center label are not visible in the provided photo.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The sleeve shows traces of wear, creases, and slight discoloration visible on the front.

Did you know? The "Adagio d'Albinoni" is actually a modern reconstruction by Remo Giazotto, an Italian musicologist, created in 1958 from a rediscovered fragment by the baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni. Philips was one of the major publishers of classical records in Europe during the 20th century, renowned for the quality of its pressings.
